On April 25, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the results for the UP Board Highschool and Intermediate exams of 2023. Students can access their mark sheets on the official websites of upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in by logging in with their roll number and captcha code. This year, the pass percentage for class 12th is 89.78 percent, while for class 10th, it is 75.52 percent.

Girls have outperformed boys in both classes, with a passing percentage of 93.34 percent for girls and 86.64 percent for boys in class 12th, and a passing percentage of 83 percent for girls and 69.34 percent for boys in class 10th. Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur secured the first rank in class 10th by scoring 590 out of 600 marks, while Shubh Chapra of Mohba topped class 12th by scoring 489 out of 500 marks. This year, the evaluation process of the UP Board 2023 answer sheets was completed ahead of schedule on April 1, taking only 14 days to evaluate over 3 crores 19 lakh answer sheets. The UP Board Secretary attributed the efficient process to an effective training module for examiners. The board deployed 1,43,933 examiners across the state, and for the first time, even evaluated answer copies on Sundays and holidays. Additionally, reserve examiners were also kept by the board for the first time.
