Vygr Maharashtra: Active participation of students in G20 Summit run for education, Navi Mumbai

The Maharashtra government education department took initiative to add a good perspective to the G20 Summit. It encouraged education for all drive by arranging a rally. Almost 18 schools and colleges with 2000 students took part in the G20 Summit run for education in Navi Mumbai. Which is then appreciated by education minister Deepak Kesarkar.

This rally had some basic objectives, like promoting education for all, empowering girls by education, compulsory child education, 100% literacy etc. The rally started at Kharghar Ramesh Thakur Public School. It was a divisional level event but all three districts, Thane, Raigad and Palghar, were part of this.

This was a small measure by districts to help India's global vision of growth and power.
