Lizard Found in School Breakfast, 40 Children Fall Ill 🚨

Children at Kodaiyur Panchayat Union Middle School in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, were reportedly served breakfast containing a lizard on September 24.

Around 40 children experienced vomiting and dizziness and were taken to hospital. All were later discharged after treatment.

Two cooks were removed from duty, while action was ordered against the headmaster, a teacher and the BDO.

But the bigger question is: how are food safety and hygiene checks being carried out before meals reach children?
