A major tragedy struck Saidulajab near Saket Metro Station in Delhi on the evening of May 30, 2026, when a multi-storey commercial building suddenly collapsed.

The structure housed coaching centres, cafes, and offices, and reports say construction work was ongoing on the upper floors at the time.
