The Haunted Mystery of Delhi’s Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal Did you know that near Karol Bagh in Delhi lies a mysterious and abandoned structure known as Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal? Locals are reportedly so terrified of this location that visiting after sunset is strictly avoided.
Historically, this site was built in the 14th century by Feroz Shah Tughlaq to serve as a Shikargah, or hunting lodge. Over the centuries, the once-grand lodge crumbled into ruins, giving birth to numerous chilling ghost stories. Many claim to hear eerie noises and see strange shadows lurking in the dark, cementing its reputation as one of Delhi's most haunted spots.
Even the name of the monument is shrouded in mystery. Some believe it was named after a female caretaker named Bu Ali Bhatti, while local legends connect it to the restless spirit of a wandering woman or a forgotten queen. Although there is no concrete historical or scientific proof to back these paranormal claims, the fear surrounding Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal remains very real.
