#TheUnsungHeros : In a world focused on personal wealth, Nitesh Kumar chose to invest in the future.
After seeing children in his village, Ghattand (Bokaro, Jharkhand), lose access to schools due to coal mine expansion, this Bengaluru-based IT engineer made a bold decision.
Nitesh took a loan of ₹1.25 crore to open Nav Gurukul World School right in his coal-dust-covered village.
Instead of rote learning, he introduced modern methods like projectors and storytelling.
Today, students who once struggled to write their names are topping classes for a monthly fee of just ₹800.
These children are now dreaming of becoming IPS officers.
