School Dispute Turns Violent: Family Assaults Two Sisters with Cricket Bat in Middle of the Road

A minor disagreement between school students escalated into a shocking and dangerous street assault in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. Disturbing CCTV footage from the Garden City area shows a family intercepting a two-wheeler with their car and violently assaulting two sisters on a public road.

Key Highlights of the Incident:

• The Motive: The confrontation originated from a minor school dispute between teenage classmates. Instead of resolving the matter through school authorities, the family of one student allegedly tracked down the girls to seek revenge.

• The Interception: While two sisters—Sanskriti and Aakriti, daughters of chemical trader Mukesh Singh Sengar—were riding their scooter on their way to tuition classes along FDDI College Road, an oncoming sedan abruptly blocked their path.

• The Violent Assault: The occupants of the car confronted the sisters before the altercation turned physical. The accused father allegedly pulled a cricket bat from the car and handed it to his daughter, who struck the sisters on their heads, shoulders, and legs, while the mother and grandmother allegedly beat them with slippers.

• Police Action & Arrests: Following a formal complaint lodged by the victims' family at the Ankleshwar GIDC police station, authorities reviewed the CCTV footage and registered a case. Police arrested the primary accused couple, Gurudev alias Dev Pritam Jesal and his wife Bhavna Jesal, and seized the vehicle and cricket bat used in the attack.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage, raising serious concerns over adult involvement in escalating teenage disputes into life-threatening public violence.
