In an extraordinary turn of events, a 24-year-old youth from Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, who left his residence on September 1 intending to meet spiritual leader Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj, ended up near the India-Pakistan border in Jammu.
Following a formal missing person report filed by his family, the Khargone police launched an active search, piecing together transit clues via CCTV footage that eventually traced his journey across northern India into Jammu and Kashmir. The youth was discovered in the Sainik Colony area by local social worker Jitendra Singh, who ensured his safety, offered shelter, and promptly coordinated with the youth's family and the authorities.
A police team from Khargone was dispatched to Jammu to complete the necessary formalities, successfully reuniting the young man with his family after more than a month. Bringing verified ground reports and stories of community vigilance remains a key focus for the VYGR news desk.
