A horrifying incident took place with a doctor at Aligarh's Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital.

Reports say a dispute broke out late at night between patient attendants and a doctor which quickly turned into a violent clash.

Viral footage shows a lady doctor bleeding from the mouth after the attack.

Following the incident the Resident Doctors Association launched a protest demanding better security for medical staff.

Police have taken complaints from both sides and started a full investigation into the entire incident.
