Manchester City move up third in the Premier League and took a big step in their pursuit for Champions league spot. Man City defeated Wolves 1-0 in Premier league gameweek 35. Kevin De Bruyne scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute of the game.

What next for City?

Manchester City will now be hoping to ensure a Champions League spot by putting a good shift in their remaining fixtures against Southampton, Bournemouth and Fulham. The Blues will also be looking to win the FA CUP Final against Crystal Palace and will be hoping to give a fairytale ending to their club legend De Bruyne. Man City who have had a difficult season according to their standards will be hoping to end this season with Silverware.

What next for Wolves?

Wolves did put in a good shift at the Etihad and had their chances of winning the game on numerous occasions . Wolves hit the woodwork two times in the game and could have ended up on the winning side if they could have been able to convert on the chances they got. Wolves are currently 13th on the points table and will be looking for a strong finish to their season. Wolves will also look to be active in the upcoming transfer window with their star player Matheus Cunha being linked to a transfer move to Manchester United.
