This was Müller’s last home game for Bayern, and he is leaving the team by winning the record 13th league title, equaling Ryan Giggs' record of most league titles in Europe’s top five leagues.

Thomas Müller, who is regarded as one of the greatest Bayern players to ever wear the shirt, played his final match at the Allianz Arena and got his fairytale ending as he lifted the Bundesliga trophy in his final home game for the club. The environment in the Allianz Arena was a bit emotional as the player they loved and supported for many years is leaving them, a lot of chants for Müller were sung by the Bayern fans, and the support from the fans made the funniest guy in football a bit emotional as well. Müller joined Bayern’s youth academy at the age of 10 in 2000, and he made his debut for the senior team in 2008. He will be leaving the club after 17 years in the senior team. This tells us about the loyalty Müller had for Bayern. Müller made over 743 appearances for the club and scored 247 goals and provided 273 assists. Müller leaves the club as one of their most decorated player with 34 trophies for the club. It will be interesting to see the next step Müller will take in his career and where he will take his footballing skills next.
First trophy for Harry Kane
Harry Kane, who is regarded as one of the best striker of this generation lifted his first major trophy in football. Harry was seen enjoying himself in the trophy celebrations way too much and the look on his face of “finally” winning a trophy was evident. The moment Harry lifted the trophy and the way every Bayern player celebrated with him showed how much this moment meant to him. Kane has scored 25 goals in this Bundesliga season and is leading the Golden Boot race.

Bayern currently sits on top of the Bundesliga points table with 79 points from 33 games played this season. They have 24 wins this season and have lost only 2 matches in the whole campaign. All the Bayern players have impressed a lot this season after last season was highly disappointing, according to Bayern’s standards. It looks like Kompany has found a way to bring Bayern back to competing for silverware, something which they were unable to do under Tuchel last season. It will be interesting to see which players Bayern will target in the upcoming transfer window to mark a new era in the Allianz Arena.
