The Indian Cricket team has announced Shubman Gill as the new Test captain of India, as he will be leading the team to a new era after Rohit and Virat’s retirement from the format. Shubman Gill, who is the Captain of Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League, will now be leading his country in the oldest and biggest format of the game, and his first challenge is a big one: it’s the upcoming England tour, which kicks off on 20th June.
