A series of powerful IED explosions rocked Manipur’s Bishnupur district on Monday morning, January 5, 2026, leaving at least two civilians injured in the Saiton-Nganukon area.

The blasts, which targeted an abandoned residential site, triggered immediate search operations by security forces and have since been taken over by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a high-level probe.
