Did you know an ancient Shivling was hidden underwater for centuries? 🙏

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) recently made a stunning discovery at the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga in Nashik! While cleaning the 65-foot-deep Amrit Kund, they found an ancient stone Shivling hidden in the silt at the bottom of the pond.

Experts believe it’s over 240 years old! While the current temple was built by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao between 1755 and 1786, local legends suggest this Shivling might belong to an even older temple destroyed by Aurangzeb's army in 1690!
