"Curtains for Classrooms": Students Protest Against Mismanagement at Khargone University

A massive wave of student outrage has erupted against the Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, shedding light on a shocking lack of basic educational infrastructure. Frustrated by the ongoing mismanagement, students recently took to the streets to protest and eventually blocked the Chittorgarh-Bhusawal highway.

• Severe Lack of Classrooms: Students revealed a bizarre and distressing reality: due to an acute shortage of space, two separate classes are being conducted simultaneously in a single room, simply divided by a curtain.

• Delayed Practicals: With the main university exams approaching fast, students are highly distressed as their mandatory practical exams and sessions have not yet been conducted.

• Road Blockade: When initial slogans at the UTD and administrative buildings went unheard, the students intensified their protest by staging a sit-in on the main Chittorgarh-Bhusawal route, bringing traffic to a complete halt.

• Ultimatum to Authorities: While university officials have verbally promised to resolve the infrastructural issues within 15 days, the students have issued a stern warning—if their demands are not practically met, they will launch an indefinite hunger strike.
