Imran Khan Reportedly Gets Notice to Leave India by October 28 ⚖️

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, a US citizen and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder, has reportedly received a notice from the FRRO directing him to leave India by October 28.

The reported action follows his alleged participation in a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on October 10. Khan was reportedly detained briefly, while BJP leader Kirit Somaiya filed a complaint over his participation.

The development has raised questions about the legal limits on political participation by OCI cardholders and the rules governing their stay in India. The allegations and the reported notice remain subject to official clarification.
