This is the reality outside AIIMS Delhi, one of India’s most trusted hospitals.
Patients and their families sleep on concrete, waiting through cold nights, pollution, and uncertainty. Many travel from Bihar, UP, Rajasthan and other states, only to face long queues, delayed appointments, and months-long waits for tests. With limited access to shelter and urgent care, families are often pushed toward costly private labs.
This is not just an infrastructure issue. It reflects deeper gaps in access, planning, and last-mile healthcare delivery.
