A unique love story that began behind the bars of Satna Central Jail has finally reached the wedding mandap.

Firoza Khatoon, who was serving as an Assistant Jailer and Warrant In-charge, has married Dharmendra Singh, a former prisoner who was serving a life sentence.

The duo first met during their duty hours in jail, where Dharmendra used to assist with warrant-related work.

Their professional interaction slowly turned into friendship and eventually blossomed into love.

Dharmendra, a resident of Chanda, was jailed in 2007 in a murder case and was released four years ago after completing his sentence.

Despite facing opposition from their families and differences in their religions, the couple decided to stay together.

They recently tied the knot following traditional Hindu rituals.

This unusual wedding has now become the talk of the town in Madhya Pradesh.
