Air India Aircraft Damaged At Delhi Airport After Storm

A sudden and severe storm at Delhi’s IGI Airport has led to an unfortunate incident involving three Air India aircraft.

Due to high-speed winds and heavy rain, ground support equipment was displaced, leading to collisions that damaged the planes.

Following the incident, all three aircraft have been immediately removed from service and sent for detailed engineering inspections to ensure passenger safety.

This event has sparked critical questions regarding the adequacy of weather alert systems and safety arrangements at major airports.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to determine how such equipment displacement occurred.
