A blue drum, a shocking mu*der, and a verdict after 13 months. Here’s the entire case in 40 seconds.

On February 24, 2025, Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput returned to Meerut from London.

According to the prosecution, he was allegedly murdered on March 3, and his body parts were concealed inside a cement-filled blue drum.

His wife Muskan allegedly left their daughter at her maternal home and fled to Shimla with her boyfriend Sahil.

On March 17, police recovered the drum and arrested both accused.

The trial continued for 13 months, with 126 hearings and more than 22 witnesses presented before the court.

On September 30, Muskan and Sahil were convicted. The court is yet to announce the final sentence.

Now, all eyes are on the sentencing.
