Women Block Highway Over Alleged Illegal Liquor Sales 🚨👩‍🦰

When repeated complaints allegedly went unheard, hundreds of women in Bamnala, Madhya Pradesh, took their protest to the national highway.

At around 9 PM, the women gathered outside a police outpost and staged a chakka jam for nearly an hour, protesting the alleged sale of illicit liquor in the village.

The women claimed that the issue has been continuing for a long time and has contributed to frequent disputes and unrest in the area.

Police officials reached the spot and assured the protesters of action, following which the road blockade was called off.

But this raises a bigger question: Are complaints against illicit liquor being heard before they reach the streets?
