A horrific incident of police misconduct has come to light.

A young man battling bone cancer was reportedly stopped at a police checkpoint, where he was subjected to unthinkable humiliation and physical assault.

The victim alleges that officers not only mocked his life-threatening illness but also deliberately applied pressure to his cancer-affected leg, inflicting severe pain.

Following the victim's complaint, the administration has taken swift action, suspending the involved Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and home guard.

An FIR has been registered, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to ensure a thorough probe into this inhumane act.

This is a gross abuse of power.
