A doctor at Shimla’s IGMC has been suspended after an alleged assault on a patient following a heated argument.

An FIR has been registered, and police are recording statements from both sides. Hospital authorities have launched an internal probe as the investigation continues.

Recently, both sides apologised and resolved the matter through dialogue, acknowledging that the conflict escalated under pressure.

Following the compromise, the government revoked the termination order, and hospital services resumed normally.
