The Syrian National Earthquake Center reported that the province of Idlib in northwestern Syria was shaken on Thursday night by an earthquake of magnitude 5.4.
The 18.8-kilometre-deep earthquake occurred at 10:47 p.m. local time.
Its epicentre was 61 kilometres away from Idlib, the province's capital.
