A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Vietnam as a dream vacation turned fatal for a group of Indian tourists. 💔🌊

A speedboat carrying 32 Indian tourists capsized near the popular Phu Quoc Island, claiming the lives of 15 people. 

The vessel overturned around 1:00 PM while returning to port, just 400 meters away from the shore. Strong waves severely hampered rescue efforts as passengers remained trapped inside.

Local boats rushed to assist before Vietnam’s border guards, Navy, and Coast Guard took over the operation. A total of 21 people were rescued and rushed to nearby hospitals. 

Authorities have launched an official investigation to determine the exact cause of the capsize. Our deepest condolences go out to the families of the victims during this devastating time. 🙏
