Harmanpreet Kaur-led India defeated Sri Lanka by 147 runs in the Asian Games 2026 final to defend their women’s cricket gold medal. It is also India’s first gold medal of the 2026 Asian Games.

India posted a massive 216/3, powered by Smriti Mandhana’s 79 and Shafali Verma’s 48. Richa Ghosh then added an unbeaten 49 off 22 balls.

The bowlers finished the job, restricting Sri Lanka to just 69 runs, giving India a commanding 147-run victory. 🇮🇳🏏
