A new controversy has erupted between CSK and RCB.

During the match at Chinnaswamy Stadium, as soon as CSK players were getting out, RCB’s DJ repeatedly played the viral “Dosa Idli, Sambar, Chutney” song.

CSK has now lodged an official complaint with the BCCI, claiming that the song was used to mock South Indian players and stereotype them.

CSK stated that the home team’s DJ should hype their own team, not insult the opposition.

While many feel it was just light-hearted banter, CSK seems to have taken serious offense.

BCCI is now expected to look into the matter.
