Sachin Sarjerao Khiladi has added another glorious chapter to India's sporting history at the Asian Para Games. In an astounding performance, he clinched the 16th gold medal for the nation in the men's F-46 shot put event, shattering the Games Record with a colossal throw of 16.03m.
Sachin's moment of glory came in his fourth attempt when he unleashed his best effort, securing the coveted top spot on the podium. His fellow countryman, Rohit Kumar, also made India proud by winning the bronze medal with a remarkable throw of 14.56m.
Notably, Sachin is not just an Asian sensation but a global one. He currently holds the title of World Champion in the men's shot put F46 category, a title he claimed during the 2023 Para-Athletics World Championships in July. During that spectacular event, he astounded the world with a record-breaking throw of 16.21m, setting a new Asian Record and earning India a quota for the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
