Saudi Arabian club AL-HILAI, which plays in the Saudi Pro League, has made Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes a target for the upcoming transfer window. Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim insists Bruno is a “crucial player” and also United’s Key player and has made it clear that there are no intentions of letting the Portuguese Magnifico leave in the upcoming transfer window. Manchester United coach Amorim wants Bruno Fernandes to be a part of the revolutionary changes the club expects him to make, so that the club can bring back the “Glory Days”. AL- Hilal made a lucrative offer to Bruno back in 2024, but Fernandes declined it due to his commitments to United and also because he wants to achieve his desires of success in European Football. It is expected that AL HILAL will make a more lucrative offer to Bruno. It will be interesting to see how Bruno reacts to it and what decision he will make for his future.
Bruno the savior
Manchester United are having the worst season in their history and currently sit in 15th position in the Premier League, but Bruno is still the only United player who gives it all for the United badge. Bruno has scored 16 goals this season, he also has 14 assists in 45 total appearances. An impressive 30G/A in United’s worst season is another example of why United will be reluctant to let Bruno leave United next season, as the fans will be hoping to see United back to winning ways next season.
What does the future hold for United?
Manchester United are still fighting for European Glory this season as they are the only unbeaten team across all UEFA competitions this season. United will be facing Athletic Club in the 2nd Leg of the Europa League semi-finals. United currently lead the tie 3-0 and will be hoping to end this season on a high note by winning the Europa League. AL Hilal would have to try hard to get Bruno in the transfer window, and the move seems unlikely at this point due to United’s stance of calling their captain “Untouchable” in the upcoming window.
