In 2018, it began operating its first environmentally friendly long-distance train and a pilot project for all-electric long-distance buses. It currently serves over 5,500 destinations worldwide and operates in 40 nations.
Flix stated that it intends to expand into "one of the largest bus markets in the world" with its "unique business model." It will likewise send off FlixBus activities in Chile this year, in front of India. India will join the Flix organisation as the 42nd nation.
