Hyderabad will get Paris-inspired bridges soon

In an effort to ease traffic congestion in the capital city of Telangana, bridges that are modeled after those in Paris will soon span the Musi and Esa rivers in Hyderabad. Various agencies will construct up to 15 bridges, and the tender process for some of them has already begun.

Tenders for high-level bridges at missing link corridor number 99 on Musi, which connects the Sun City and Chintalmet (Power Corridor) on Esa as well as connecting Inner Ring Road and Kismatpur road, have been put out by the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL).

The Ibrahimbagh causeway on Musi will also be connected by high-level bridges at Moosarambagh and Chaderghat. At Attapur, a bridge will be built parallel to the current bridge. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will carry out these projects.

Even though the development agencies are planning bridges similar to those across rivers in Paris and other European cities, they will be built in a way that fits Hyderabad's topography and its history.

The cable bridge at Durgam Cheruvu and Lake Park with boating , fun activities and food stalls outside the park is a new tourist attraction to visit in Hyderabad.
