Pranit More’s Public Apology: Addressing the ‘₹370 Biryani’ Controversy

Comedian Pranit More has finally addressed the national controversy surrounding his viral crowd-work video, often referred to as the "₹370 Biryani" row.

After his Instagram account was temporarily suspended amid a wave of public outrage, More released a statement acknowledging his failure to intervene when an audience member made derogatory remarks regarding consent and entitlement.

In his apology, he admits that he allowed the situation to escalate by laughing along and giving the remarks a platform, stating, "I deserve the hate."

The incident has triggered a broader discussion on the responsibilities of stand-up performers, with ongoing investigations by the Maharashtra Police and the National Commission for Women.

More has expressed his full cooperation with the authorities and requested a chance to evolve both personally and professionally.
