9-Year-Old Student Dies After Collapsing in Delhi School; Family Questions Emergency Response

A heartbreaking incident has unfolded at Lovely Heritage School in Mayur Vihar Phase 2, East Delhi, where a nine-year-old Class 3 student collapsed in her classroom and later died. CCTV footage reportedly shows the child falling unconscious shortly after returning from a games period.

The grieving family has accused the school of failing to provide timely medical assistance, particularly questioning why CPR was not administered immediately. Principal Bhawna Malik stated that staff noticed a bleeding injury on the child's chin and initially believed she had fainted due to the fall.

The child was declared dead upon arrival at Malik Hospital. Police are investigating the incident, while post-mortem findings are awaited.

The tragedy has raised serious questions about emergency medical preparedness and CPR training in schools.
