PANJIM, GOA — March 28, 2026 — The ASSOCHAM Goa Council, in collaboration with the Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and the Government of Goa, successfully organized the Manufacturing Conclave 2026 today at the Taj Vivanta, St Inez. Under the theme “Powering MSMEs from Energy Savings to Sustainable Growth,” the event convened industry leaders, policymakers, and financial experts to chart a sustainable roadmap for Goa’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Dr. Sagar Salgaocar, Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Goa Council while welcoming the industry leaders and MSMEs emphasized on the critical link between energy efficiency and industrial scaling. Shri Sanjeev Joglekar, Member Secretary of GEDA, as a Special Guest also addressed the gathering on accelerating the energy transition- Policy Frameworks.
The program featured high-level panel discussions and technical expert sessions designed to provide MSMEs with actionable strategies for global competitiveness. A unique state Industry perspective panel discussion moderated by ASSOCHAM that brought together in one platform bridging the gap between energy efficiency and industrial scaling that aimed at collective goals, featured leaders and representatives from the Goa Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers’ Association, GSIA, Verna Industries Association, GCCI committee chairs and Laghu Udyog Bharati discussed.
The special expert session covered topics for MSMEs on Converting Energy Savings into Capital, implementation of Industrial Infrastructure, GEDA subsidies and schemes, Energy and Water Audits and decarbonisation, followed by a relevant panel discussion on navigating regulatory pressures, identifying scalable Solutions & bridging financial gaps for MSMEs that aimed to chart new energy road map for Viksit Goa.
