A major controversy has erupted over the recent clashes between Delhi Police and demonstrators in the national capital. Following widespread allegations and viral videos claiming police misconduct and the use of undue force against protesters, the Delhi Police have countered by releasing their own ground footage.

The new visuals depict police officers, including several women personnel, facing aggressive crowds, relentless pushing, and widespread misbehaviour while attempting to maintain law and order. Authorities have stated that the viral clips circulating online selectively showed police intervention while deliberately omitting the prior acts of resistance and obstruction by the protesters.

The Delhi Police are currently analysing multiple mobile and CCTV videos to identify the individuals involved in assaulting the officers, and formal cases are expected to be registered. For the fast-paced VYGR news desk, presenting both sides of this intense civic conflict is crucial to ensuring balanced, factual, and high-impact reporting.
