Injured Elephant in Assam Raises Questions About Wildlife Care 🐘💔

A video from Sonitpur, Assam, showing an elephant struggling with a severe leg infection has raised concerns about its condition and access to medical care.

The elephant reportedly appears to have difficulty standing and moving, highlighting how vulnerable even large wild animals can become when seriously injured or unwell.

Anant Ambani has previously supported medical care and rehabilitation for elephants, including the well known case of Madhuri in Kolhapur. His name is now being mentioned online as people hope similar assistance could reach this elephant.

But this also raises a larger question:

Should wildlife care depend on an individual stepping forward, or should stronger systems ensure timely treatment for animals in distress? 🐘🌿
