A terrifying robbery inside a residential building in Mumbai's Kandivali West has sparked widespread safety concerns for senior citizens. An elderly woman residing in Umang Apartment was targeted by a man who posed as a visitor seeking directions.

CCTV footage captures the suspect—dressed in a black T-shirt and green cap—approaching her just as she opens her flat door. After briefly pretending to leave, he unexpectedly attacks her, violently snatches her gold chain, and flees.

During the incident, the society's watchman was reportedly away assisting a resident with parking. The Kandivali Police have registered an FIR and are actively using the viral CCTV footage to track down the culprit.
