While the government celebrated the opening of the ₹5,000 crore aviation infrastructure project spanning 2,200 acres, shocking videos emerged showing the massive crowd walking away with decorative plants and saplings.

• Looting Public Property: Following the inauguration ceremony, numerous attendees were recorded casually uprooting freshly planted ornamental trees—roots and all—and carting them off to take home.

• Fountain Mishaps: Additional footage surfaced showing guests entering and playing in the airport's decorative fountains. Some individuals were even seen standing on the water fixtures to take selfies.

• Internet Outrage: The bizarre spectacle has sparked massive online debate. Netizens are heavily criticizing the lack of civic sense and expressing "second-hand embarrassment" over the rampant destruction and mishandling of public property.
