Chaos erupted in the Teen Imli area of Indore on Monday after a massive fire gutted five buses and several two-wheelers.
The incident occurred during bus repairs when a stray spark from a welding machine ignited a fire that quickly spiraled out of control.
Within minutes, the blaze intensified, leading to multiple gas cylinder explosions that caused panic throughout the neighborhood.
Thick black smoke engulfed the area as residents fled their homes in fear. Firefighters and police teams arrived on the scene and successfully brought the fire under control after a tough struggle.
While property worth lakhs was destroyed, fortunately, no lives were lost in the accident.
Following the incident, angry residents have raised serious concerns regarding the safety of bus parking in residential zones and are demanding its immediate relocation.
