Lucknow Super Giants' Prince Yadav is officially the breakout bowling star of IPL 2026.

While his family originally wanted him to follow a stable path and become a Police Officer, Prince had other plans.

He even cleared the physical test for the Delhi Police but purposely left his written exam paper blank to chase his cricket dreams.

Today, that "junoon" has paid off. Prince has climbed to the third spot in the Purple Cap standings with 16 wickets in 11 matches, even bowling out legend Virat Kohli for a golden duck.

His journey from playing tennis ball cricket in Najafgarh to becoming LSG’s most valuable bowler is nothing short of an inspiration.
