Snabbit moves out of Mumbai, finds Bengaluru more tech talented

Snabbit, a fast-growing Indian technology startup, has officially moved its headquarters from Mumbai to Bengaluru. The decision, company executives say, was driven by Bengaluru’s stronger tech ecosystem and access to some of the brightest minds in India’s startup world.

Founded in 2021, Snabbit began as a small software company offering tools for data automation and real-time analytics. Its products quickly gained popularity among businesses trying to simplify their digital workflows. With its growth, Snabbit realised it needed a bigger team of engineers, product designers, and developers — and Bengaluru seemed the perfect place for that.

Bengaluru, often called the “Silicon Valley of India,” continues to attract startups from across the country. It’s home to thousands of tech companies, from small app creators to global giants. The city’s combination of skilled software talent, tech-friendly infrastructure, and thriving venture capital ecosystem makes it a natural choice for firms looking to grow fast in today’s competitive digital market.

Snabbit’s move joins a long list of Indian startups such as Swiggy, Zerodha, and Meesho that have built their success in Bengaluru’s tech-rich environment. The company stated that this shift will help it hire faster, build better products, and stay close to like-minded innovators.

While Mumbai remains India’s financial capital and a key base for business operations, it has become increasingly tough for tech companies to find and retain specialised talent. The cost of living is high, office rents are costly, and there is limited space for startup incubators.

Snabbit’s co-founder, Raghav Nair, said in a media statement, “Mumbai gave us our start, but Bengaluru feels like home for innovation. We can now collaborate more freely with developers and tech experts from nearby companies.”

He added that the city offers a unique mix of youthful energy and creativity — two elements that define India’s modern tech culture.

Over the next year, Snabbit plans to double its team size and invest in artificial intelligence and cloud-based automation. The company is already in talks with tech universities and local training institutes to support fresh talent through internships and innovation programmes.

Industry observers say this relocation could give the startup more visibility among investors who frequently visit Bengaluru to explore India’s booming technology sector. The city’s reputation for being open, experimental, and welcoming to startups is seen as a key reason why such moves are becoming common.

Snabbit’s shift represents a wider trend among young Indian startups moving their bases from traditional business centres like Mumbai and Delhi to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. The lure of better infrastructure for tech development and a collaborative community continues to pull new-age entrepreneurs southward.

For Snabbit, the move signals not just a change of address, but a renewed focus on growth, learning, and innovation — values that define the heart of Indian technology. As Bengaluru continues to shine as the nation’s innovation capital, it looks like Snabbit has indeed found its perfect match.
