A shocking CCTV video from a clinic in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has captured the moment a patient's mobile phone suddenly burst into flames, triggering panic inside the waiting area.

Children and a doctor present at the clinic narrowly escaped unharmed. Such incidents can occur due to thermal runaway, a dangerous battery reaction in which excessive heat triggers further heating and can lead to fire or explosion.

Using counterfeit chargers, exposing phones to excessive heat and ignoring battery damage can increase safety risks. The incident serves as a reminder to follow proper smartphone charging and battery safety practices.
