A devastating fire broke out at around 4 AM in the century-old heritage market of Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh.

The blaze spread rapidly, completely gutting eight shops within minutes. One of the most iconic shops – a famous old sweet shop loved by tourists for decades – was also completely destroyed.

The incident, which occurred in Solan district, caused heavy black smoke visible from a distance.

Initial reports suggest a loss of around ₹3 crore.
Fortunately, no loss of life has been reported so far.
