Aston Martin Cars Get Price Cuts of Up to ₹4 Crore in India After India-UK FTA – Check New Prices

Aston Martin, the iconic British luxury sports car manufacturer, has announced significant price reductions across its India lineup following the implementation of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The revised prices make some of the brand's most desirable sports cars and luxury SUVs considerably cheaper, with customers getting benefits of up to ₹4.02 crore.

The price revision covers seven models, including the Vantage S, DB12 S, DBX S and flagship Vanquish range. The biggest price reduction has been introduced for the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, which is now cheaper by ₹4.02 crore compared to its previous price.

The move is part of a broader trend among British luxury car manufacturers passing on the benefits of reduced import duties to Indian customers.

Aston Martin Vanquish Gets the Biggest Price Reduction

The flagship Aston Martin Vanquish range has received the biggest price benefits under the revised pricing structure.

The Vanquish Coupe, which was previously priced at ₹10.11 crore, now costs ₹6.40 crore, making it cheaper by ₹3.71 crore.

However, the Vanquish Volante has received an even bigger reduction. Its price has dropped from ₹10.92 crore to ₹6.90 crore, translating into savings of ₹4.02 crore.

The Vanquish Volante is the convertible version of the flagship grand tourer and now offers a considerably lower entry price for customers interested in Aston Martin's high-performance luxury vehicles.

Aston Martin Vantage S Now Starts at ₹3.15 Crore

The Aston Martin Vantage S is now the most affordable model in the brand's revised Indian lineup.

The Vantage S Coupe has become cheaper by ₹1.84 crore, with its price reduced from ₹4.99 crore to ₹3.15 crore.

Meanwhile, the Vantage S Roadster has received a price reduction of ₹1.91 crore. It is now available at ₹3.35 crore compared to its previous price of ₹5.26 crore.

These revised prices could make the Vantage range more attractive to buyers looking for an exclusive British performance sports car.

Aston Martin DB12 S and DBX S Also Become Cheaper

The price benefits are not limited to Aston Martin's sports car lineup. The brand's grand tourer and performance SUV have also received substantial price reductions.

The Aston Martin DB12 S Coupe is now priced at ₹4.10 crore, down from ₹6.62 crore, representing a reduction of ₹2.52 crore.

The DB12 S Volante has received a price cut of ₹2.65 crore, with its revised price standing at ₹4.35 crore compared to ₹7 crore earlier.

Similarly, the Aston Martin DBX S, the brand's performance-oriented luxury SUV, has become cheaper by ₹2.65 crore. Its price has dropped from ₹6.80 crore to ₹4.15 crore.

How Does the India-UK FTA Make Aston Martin Cars Cheaper?

The India-UK Free Trade Agreement is the primary reason behind these significant price reductions.

Under the agreement, import duties on eligible British-manufactured vehicles are being reduced through a phased, quota-based structure. For qualifying high-capacity petrol and diesel vehicles, the import duty has been reduced from 110% to 30% in the first year of implementation.

The tariff is scheduled to decline further over the following years, eventually reaching 10% by the fifth year for eligible vehicles.

However, these concessions are subject to specific eligibility conditions, manufacturing origin requirements and annual import quotas.

Since Aston Martin vehicles are manufactured in the United Kingdom, eligible models can benefit from the revised import duty structure. The company has passed on the resulting tax benefits to Indian customers through lower ex-showroom prices.

Other British Luxury Car Brands Are Also Offering Price Cuts

Aston Martin is not the only British luxury car manufacturer benefiting from the India-UK FTA.

Jaguar Land Rover and McLaren have also revised prices for eligible models in India. Bentley has introduced FTA-linked benefits for selected vehicles as well.

The reduced import duties could make British luxury vehicles more competitive in India's premium automobile market, particularly in the high-performance sports car and luxury SUV segments.

Conclusion

The India-UK Free Trade Agreement has brought a major pricing change for Aston Martin customers in India. With price reductions reaching ₹4.02 crore, the British automaker has significantly revised the cost of its sports cars, grand tourers and luxury SUVs.

The Aston Martin Vantage S now starts at ₹3.15 crore, while the flagship Vanquish Volante is available at ₹6.90 crore. Although these vehicles remain firmly positioned in the ultra-luxury segment, the revised prices represent a substantial reduction for prospective buyers.

Going forward, the phased reduction in import duties could further influence the pricing and competitiveness of eligible British luxury cars in India.
