Mahindra Updates Thar OG with More Power, New Features and Improved Ride Quality

Mahindra has introduced several upgrades to the Thar OG, making the popular SUV more appealing for off-road adventures and everyday driving. The petrol engine now delivers an additional 10 PS, while the diesel variant gets 12 PS more power.

The updated Thar features new alloy wheels, a redesigned front grille and refreshed fog lamps. It also gets DaVinci dampers for improved ride comfort and a smoother power steering system, replacing the older, stiffer setup.

With a starting ex-showroom price of ₹10.5 lakh, the upgraded Thar is reportedly witnessing strong demand, with waiting periods stretching up to 6–8 months.
