Assistant Professor Caught Taking ₹50,000 Bribe for Transfer Posting

Corruption in the education sector has come to light after an assistant professor at Mandleshwar Government College was caught red-handed by the Lokayukta police.

The accused, Atmaram Solanki, allegedly demanded ₹4 lakh to secure a posting in Dhar for a fellow female assistant professor.

After previously accepting ₹1 lakh, the professor continued to pressure the victim for the remaining amount.

The Lokayukta team successfully laid a trap at a dhaba near the Dhamnod bypass, arresting the professor as he accepted a payment of ₹50,000.

He is now facing legal action under the Prevention of Corruption Act, sending shockwaves through the local education department.
