Does human dignity end with death? A disturbing incident at Bhopal's Hamidia Hospital has left the public horrified.

On May 27th, an autopsy on a 50-year-old unidentified body was conducted openly on a stretcher at the hospital's main entrance, completely disregarding forensic protocols and human decency.

Despite clear NHRC guidelines requiring privacy, staff performed the procedure in the open for nearly half an hour, dismissively labeling the body as "unclaimed."

While the hospital management initially denied the incident, the viral video has now forced them to promise a formal investigation and strict action.

This case raises serious questions about hospital accountability and the basic respect owed to the deceased.
