A devastating accident shook Mumbai’s Andheri area after a chain collision involving four consecutive BEST buses resulted in a tragic loss of life.
The incident occurred near Amboli Naka, where traffic was already moving slowly due to a tree that had fallen across the road.
While three buses were waiting in a stationary line, a fourth, speeding BEST bus completely lost control and slammed into the back of the queue. 🚌💥
The impact was severe and immediate. Tragically, a 42-year-old conductor, identified as Shekhar Rawat, was caught between two of the crashing buses and lost his life on the spot.
The collision triggered immediate panic in the busy area.
While police and emergency rescue teams rushed to the site shortly after the crash, they could not save the veteran conductor.
This horrific accident serves as a stark, chilling reminder of how a single moment of speeding or negligence on busy urban roads can result in an irreversible tragedy. 🕊️🛑
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to the family of the deceased conductor.
