🚨 Maharashtra: Woman Doctor Slapped During Medical Examination, CCTV Captures Assault

A disturbing incident at a Primary Health Centre in Wardha, Maharashtra, has sparked outrage after CCTV footage reportedly captured a woman doctor being slapped during a medical examination.

According to reports, the accused, identified as Qadir Ali, was brought to the health centre by police for a medico-legal examination. After the examination, while the doctor was signing the required documents, he allegedly slapped her in front of the police personnel present.

The officers immediately intervened and apprehended the accused.

The incident has renewed concerns over the safety of healthcare professionals, particularly those performing their duties in medical facilities.

Following the incident, medical associations in Maharashtra reportedly launched protests, demanding stronger security measures to protect doctors and other healthcare workers from workplace violence.
