A disturbing scene unfolded in Jaipur as Abhijeet Dipke, a vocal activist leading protests against the NEET exam paper leaks, was assaulted during a rally.
An unidentified individual attempted to slap Dipke amidst the swelling crowd, causing a major ruckus.
While the assailant was apprehended by protesters and subsequently handed over to the police, his identity and motive remain under investigation.
Dipke has been touring various states since June 6, mobilizing students and activists to demand accountability for the integrity of national examinations and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
This incident has reignited concerns about the safety of student leaders and the intensity of the ongoing NEET protests across India.
